Description

A fusion of burgers and quesadillas, these crispy beef quesadillas are savory, cheesy, and perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 tortillas (flour or corn)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • Seasonings (cumin, chili powder, salt)
  • Cooking oil (for grilling)


Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, warm a bit of oil and sauté onions until translucent.
  2. Add minced garlic and ground beef, breaking the meat apart as it cooks. Season with cumin, chili powder, and salt. Cook until beef is browned.
  3. Layer a tortilla with the beef mixture, sliced bell peppers, and a generous sprinkle of cheese.
  4. Fold the tortilla over and grill in the skillet until both sides are golden and crispy.
  5. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with fresh salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Leftovers can be reheated in a skillet or air fryer for best results.
