A fusion of burgers and quesadillas, these crispy beef quesadillas are savory, cheesy, and perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 tortillas (flour or corn)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- 1 onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 bell pepper (sliced)
- Seasonings (cumin, chili powder, salt)
- Cooking oil (for grilling)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, warm a bit of oil and sauté onions until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and ground beef, breaking the meat apart as it cooks. Season with cumin, chili powder, and salt. Cook until beef is browned.
- Layer a tortilla with the beef mixture, sliced bell peppers, and a generous sprinkle of cheese.
- Fold the tortilla over and grill in the skillet until both sides are golden and crispy.
- Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling. Slice into wedges and serve warm.
Notes
Serve with fresh salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. Leftovers can be reheated in a skillet or air fryer for best results.
