Description

A creamy, savory dip that combines the comforting flavors of a classic bagel with lox, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz smoked salmon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp capers, rinsed and chopped
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (dill, chives, or parsley), chopped
  • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • Bagel crisps for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and chopped smoked salmon.
  2. Add the red onion, capers, lemon zest, fresh herbs, and everything bagel seasoning.
  3. Mix thoroughly until the dip is smooth and all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving dish and cover it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve the dip with bagel crisps, and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. For a lighter option, consider using Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese.
