Elegant smoked salmon crostini topped with creamy chive cheese, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 French baguette, cut into ½ inch slices
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 8 ounces whipped chive cream cheese
- 4 ounces Nova lox salmon
- ¼ red onion, very thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon Everything But the Bagel seasoning
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives or scallions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush each slice lightly with extra virgin olive oil.
- Bake the slices for about 10-12 minutes until crisp and golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool slightly.
- Generously spread whipped chive cream cheese on each toasted baguette slice.
- Layer a slice of Nova lox salmon on top of the cream cheese.
- Add a few thin slices of red onion atop the salmon, then sprinkle with Everything But the Bagel seasoning.
- Garnish each crostini with finely chopped chives or scallions. Serve immediately.
