Description

A delightful cinnamon swirl cake with a buttery texture, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  5. Mix in the milk and vanilla extract slowly.
  6. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients just until combined.
  7. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, then add the remaining batter.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes in the pan before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, consider using almond milk and a dairy-free butter substitute! Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
