Description

Deliciously wholesome oatmeal bars that are perfect for breakfast or a snack, providing lasting energy with their nutritious ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower seed)
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • A pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the nut butter, sweetener, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until combined. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
