Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nut butter (almond, peanut, or sunflower seed)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
- 1/2 cup milk or non-dairy alternative
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the nut butter, sweetener, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until combined. If using, fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and press down firmly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
