Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon matcha powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
