Description

Tender beef chunks infused with rich garlic butter and perfectly roasted potatoes create an irresistible comfort dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef chunks (sirloin or tenderloin)
  • 1 lb potatoes (Yukon Gold or red)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme), for garnish
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine garlic, butter, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  3. Toss the beef chunks in a little olive oil, then add seasoning to taste.
  4. Arrange the potatoes on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil; then sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Roast potatoes in the oven for 15 minutes before adding the beef to the sheet.
  6. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the beef and potatoes.
  7. Return the baking sheet to the oven and cook for an additional 10–15 minutes, or until the beef reaches desired doneness.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider marinating the beef for a couple of hours. For crisper potatoes, parboil them for a few minutes before roasting.
