Description

A comforting meatloaf that combines the beloved flavors of a classic cheeseburger, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (cheddar or American)
  • 1 small Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup (plus for topping)
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheese, chopped onion, eggs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
  4. Spread additional ketchup on top for flavor and moisture during baking.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding chopped pickles or barbecue sauce to the mixture. You can also use lean ground beef to reduce grease.
