Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 loaf of garlic bread
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
- Optional: sliced jalapeños or pickles for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on your garlic bread package.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onion softens.
- Stir in ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, seasoning with salt and pepper. Let simmer for a few minutes to meld flavors.
- Slice the garlic bread in half lengthwise and arrange it on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the beef mixture generously over each half of the garlic bread.
