Delicious tacos filled with seasoned ground beef, perfect for any gathering or night in.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
- 8 taco shells (corn or flour)
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 2 cups lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, diced
- 1 avocado (or guacamole)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa or pico de gallo
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks until fully browned.
- Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and a bit of water. Simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
- While the beef simmers, heat the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Once the beef is ready, assemble by filling each taco shell with the seasoned beef.
- Top with cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, and salsa as desired.
Notes
Serve with a side of Mexican rice or fresh corn salad. Customize toppings to preference.
