Description

Delicious tacos filled with seasoned ground beef, perfect for any gathering or night in.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 taco shells (corn or flour)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 cups lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 avocado (or guacamole)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup salsa or pico de gallo


Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks until fully browned.
  2. Drain any excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and a bit of water. Simmer for a few minutes until thickened.
  3. While the beef simmers, heat the taco shells according to package instructions.
  4. Once the beef is ready, assemble by filling each taco shell with the seasoned beef.
  5. Top with cheese, lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, sour cream, and salsa as desired.

Notes

Serve with a side of Mexican rice or fresh corn salad. Customize toppings to preference.
