Description

A quick and delicious BBQ glazed salmon recipe with a caramelized crust and buttery fish, perfect for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Grill: Set your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Make the Glaze: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, BBQ sauce, olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Glaze the Salmon: Brush the glaze generously over each salmon fillet.
  4. Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon on the grill, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Flip and Finish: Carefully flip the salmon and grill for another 3-4 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked and the glaze is caramelized.
  6. Rest: Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. Serve Up: Pair your glazed salmon with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.

Notes

For a different sweetness, substitute maple syrup for brown sugar. Use gluten-free soy sauce for dietary restrictions.
