Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Grill: Set your grill to medium-high heat.
- Make the Glaze: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, BBQ sauce, olive oil, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Glaze the Salmon: Brush the glaze generously over each salmon fillet.
- Grill the Salmon: Place the salmon on the grill, skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes.
- Flip and Finish: Carefully flip the salmon and grill for another 3-4 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked and the glaze is caramelized.
- Rest: Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Serve Up: Pair your glazed salmon with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
Notes
For a different sweetness, substitute maple syrup for brown sugar. Use gluten-free soy sauce for dietary restrictions.
