Description

Juicy chicken thighs glazed with a delightful mix of sweet and spicy flavors, cooked to perfection in an air fryer for a crispy finish.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped green onions or sesame seeds for garnish


Instructions

  1. Combine the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring they are well-coated with the marinade. Let sit for at least 15 minutes, or longer for more flavor.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and arrange it in the air fryer basket, ensuring there is some space between the pieces for even cooking.
  5. Cook the thighs for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check for an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) for safe consumption.
  6. Once cooked, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken thighs overnight. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
