Description

A delightful treat that merges the sweetness of grapes with sparkling wine, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound grapes (red or green)
  • 1 cup champagne or sparkling wine
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

  1. Wash the grapes thoroughly and remove them from the stems.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the champagne and lemon juice.
  3. Soak the grapes in this mixture for approximately 30 minutes.
  4. Remove the grapes from the liquid and roll them in the granulated sugar until fully coated.
  5. Arrange the sugar-coated grapes on a serving platter and chill until serving time.
  6. If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Avoid freezing.
