Ingredients
- 1 pound grapes (red or green)
- 1 cup champagne or sparkling wine
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Wash the grapes thoroughly and remove them from the stems.
- In a medium bowl, combine the champagne and lemon juice.
- Soak the grapes in this mixture for approximately 30 minutes.
- Remove the grapes from the liquid and roll them in the granulated sugar until fully coated.
- Arrange the sugar-coated grapes on a serving platter and chill until serving time.
- If desired, garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Avoid freezing.
