Description

A delightful combination of sweet and sour flavors with tender, juicy chicken, perfect for busy weekdays or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces (thighs or breasts)
  • Sweet and sour sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Soy sauce
  • Honey or brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, and honey or brown sugar to create a marinade.
  3. Place the chicken in a baking dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  5. Baste the chicken halfway through for extra flavor and moisture.
  6. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken for up to an hour before baking. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
