Description

Bright, creamy, and just the right amount of kick, sweet and spicy whipped feta crostini captures a delightful balance of flavors that seem to dance on your tastebuds.


Ingredients

  • 4 oz feta cheese
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
  • Olive oil
  • Hot honey, for drizzling
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix the feta, cream cheese, honey, and red pepper flakes until smooth and creamy.
  3. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil.
  4. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Spread a generous amount of the whipped feta mixture onto each toasted baguette slice.
  6. Drizzle hot honey over the top.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve while warm.

Notes
