Ingredients
- 8 oz noodles (rice noodles, egg noodles, or wheat noodles)
- 1 lb ground chicken
- ½ cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
- 1 green onion, chopped
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart, until fully browned.
- Stir in the sliced bell peppers and cook for 2–3 minutes, until slightly softened.
- Add sweet chili sauce and soy sauce, stirring until the chicken and vegetables are evenly coated.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss gently to combine.
- Cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- Marinate ground chicken with a little soy sauce and garlic for deeper flavor.
- Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for extra heat.
- Ground turkey or tofu works well as a substitute.
- Rice noodles absorb sauce best for this dish.
