Description

Easy and flavorful sweet chili ground chicken noodles made with tender noodles, savory chicken, and a sweet-spicy sauce—perfect for quick weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz noodles (rice noodles, egg noodles, or wheat noodles)
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • ½ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced (any color)
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add ground chicken and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart, until fully browned.
  4. Stir in the sliced bell peppers and cook for 2–3 minutes, until slightly softened.
  5. Add sweet chili sauce and soy sauce, stirring until the chicken and vegetables are evenly coated.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss gently to combine.
  7. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • Marinate ground chicken with a little soy sauce and garlic for deeper flavor.
  • Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for extra heat.
  • Ground turkey or tofu works well as a substitute.
  • Rice noodles absorb sauce best for this dish.
