Description

Crispy halloumi cheese wrapped in soft tortillas with fresh veggies and a sweet chili sauce, perfect for quick dinners or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 250g halloumi cheese
  • 4 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 4 soft flour tortillas
  • 1 cup mixed bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup cucumber (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Slice the halloumi into 1/4-inch thick pieces.
  2. Chop the bell peppers and cucumber into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil.
  4. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the halloumi slices in the skillet. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side until beautifully golden brown.
  5. Lay a tortilla flat on a plate and start layering with the crispy halloumi, fresh veggies, and a generous drizzle of sweet chili sauce.
  6. Finish by squeezing fresh lime juice over the fillings, then roll the tortilla tightly into a wrap.

Notes

For best results, ensure the skillet is hot before adding halloumi. Customize with additional veggies or herbs for extra flavor.
