Description

A quick and nutritious dish featuring delicious salmon fillets marinated in a sweet honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and grated ginger (if using).
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each fillet is well-coated. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Transfer the marinated salmon to a baking dish, skin-side down, and pour any leftover marinade over the fillets. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  5. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve with jasmine rice and steamed broccoli for a complete meal. Consider adding lemon slices for freshness.
