- 1/4 cup Brown sugar (Can be swapped with honey or maple syrup)
- 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (Use tamari or coconut aminos for gluten-free)
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil (Can be replaced with avocado oil or melted butter)

- 1 teaspoon Black pepper (Fresh ground is recommended)
- 1 teaspoon Salt (Adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes (Optional, for heat)
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (Chopped)
Instructions
- Begin by patting the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel and placing them in a shallow dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
- Pour the marinade over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes.
