Description
Delicious salmon fillets glazed with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet.
- Cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving them; this helps to develop a nice sear.
- Carefully flip the salmon, then pour the honey garlic mixture over the fillets.
- Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the salmon in the honey garlic sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
