Ingredients
- 1 Baguette or Italian bread
- 8 oz Feta cheese
- 4 oz Cream cheese
- 2-3 tablespoons Hot honey
- 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1-2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the baguette into thin slices, about half an inch thick, and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle the sliced bread with olive oil, and sprinkle salt and pepper over the top.
- Toast in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden and crunchy.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the feta cheese, cream cheese, hot honey, and Sriracha sauce.
- Use a hand mixer or fork to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Generously spread the whipped feta mixture onto the toasted crostini.
- Finish with an extra drizzle of hot honey and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
Store any leftover whipped feta in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. For optimal crispness, keep toasted crostini separate from the whipped feta.
