Description

A delightful appetizer combining creamy feta with sweetness and heat, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 Baguette or Italian bread
  • 8 oz Feta cheese
  • 4 oz Cream cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons Hot honey
  • 1-2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into thin slices, about half an inch thick, and arrange them on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the sliced bread with olive oil, and sprinkle salt and pepper over the top.
  4. Toast in the oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until golden and crunchy.
  5. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the feta cheese, cream cheese, hot honey, and Sriracha sauce.
  6. Use a hand mixer or fork to blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  7. Generously spread the whipped feta mixture onto the toasted crostini.
  8. Finish with an extra drizzle of hot honey and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
  9. Serve immediately.

Notes

Store any leftover whipped feta in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days. For optimal crispness, keep toasted crostini separate from the whipped feta.
