Description

A vibrant taco dinner spread allowing guests to customize their own tacos, perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade mix)
  • Soft corn or flour tortillas
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • Sliced jalapeños
  • Guacamole
  • Sour cream
  • Fresh cilantro
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and a splash of water, then simmer for 5 minutes until fragrant.
  3. While the beef is cooking, prepare your tortillas by heating them in a separate pan or microwave until warm.
  4. Arrange the cooked beef and tortillas on a large serving board or platter.
  5. Add bowls of toppings: lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges for a zesty punch.

Notes

Feel free to substitute ground beef with shredded chicken or black beans for a vegetarian option.
