Description

A comforting and exciting dish featuring juicy chicken breasts enveloped in a rich butter sauce with hints of honey and spices.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts. Sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth, stirring to deglaze the pan.
  4. Stir in the butter mixture, cooking until it becomes smooth.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a different twist, try adding spinach or mushrooms, or top with feta cheese. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
