Description

A mouthwatering chicken dish topped with melty cheese and vibrant flavors, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Swiss or Jack cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sautéed mushrooms and onions
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts on both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Layer the sautéed mushrooms and onions over the chicken in the skillet.
  5. Top each piece with cheese, then transfer the skillet to the oven.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese has melted.
  7. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
