Description
A quick and flavorful baked salmon inspired by Texas Roadhouse, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 lemon, sliced for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared sheet.
- Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until smooth.
- Brush half of the glaze over the salmon fillets and bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the salmon, brush the remaining glaze on top, and return to the oven for an additional 5-8 minutes until cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices and serve immediately.
Notes
For a vegan twist, substitute honey with maple syrup. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
