Description

A quick and flavorful baked salmon inspired by Texas Roadhouse, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 lemon, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, honey, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, onion powder, and cayenne pepper until smooth.
  5. Brush half of the glaze over the salmon fillets and bake for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove the salmon, brush the remaining glaze on top, and return to the oven for an additional 5-8 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and serve immediately.

Notes

For a vegan twist, substitute honey with maple syrup. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
