Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 4 tortillas (flour or whole wheat)
- Optional: sesame seeds or crushed peanuts for topping
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken: In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and grated fresh ginger. Add the chicken; marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Cook the chicken: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
- Prepare the slaw: In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, chopped green onions, and cilantro. Drizzle with a mixture of soy sauce and sesame oil to dress it.
