Ingredients
- Salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- Olive oil
- Fresh lemon juice
- Garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh herbs (such as dill or parsley, optional)
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
- Mix together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, coating each piece evenly. Allow it to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Transfer the salmon to the grill, skin side down if using skin-on fillets. Cook for about 6-8 minutes on one side.
- Carefully flip the salmon and grill for an additional 4-7 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality salmon and ensure the grill is preheated and clean for optimal flavor.
