Description

A nutritious and protein-packed pizza bowl featuring creamy cottage cheese and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese (preferably low-fat)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: olives, spinach, or fresh basil


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly at the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Layer marinara sauce over the cottage cheese mixture.
  5. Scatter diced bell peppers and onions on top.
  6. Finish by sprinkling shredded mozzarella over the entire dish.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a lighter option, use low-fat cottage cheese. Feel free to customize with different veggies and cheese.
