Ingredients
- 1 pound beef (ground or cooked)
- 1 package tater tots (about 32 oz)
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar)
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped vegetables (like bell peppers or spinach)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef until browned; drain any excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until fully mixed.
- Layer the tater tots evenly at the bottom of the baking dish.
- Add the cooked beef on top of the tater tots.
- Pour the egg mixture over the beef and tater tots, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Sprinkle cheese on top, covering the casserole.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the egg is set and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
