Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the top.
- Place the cream cheese atop the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until well combined.
- Serve topped with chopped green onions for a fresh garnish.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt. To thicken the sauce, let it simmer uncovered for the last 30 minutes.
