Description

A delicious and easy slow cooker recipe featuring tender chicken, creamy cheese, and ranch seasoning, perfect for weeknight dinners or potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Add chicken breasts to the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix over the top.
  3. Place the cream cheese atop the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, shred the chicken in the slow cooker with two forks.
  6. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon until well combined.
  7. Serve topped with chopped green onions for a fresh garnish.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute cream cheese with Greek yogurt. To thicken the sauce, let it simmer uncovered for the last 30 minutes.
