Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
- 1/2 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic over medium heat until they become translucent.
- Add the diced potatoes and broth, then bring the mixture to a boil.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer until the potatoes are tender.
- For a thicker consistency, mash some of the potatoes with a fork or potato masher.
- Stir in the heavy cream, cheese, and crumbled bacon until everything is well-combined.

Notes
