Description

A classic Chicken Alfredo made easy in a slow cooker, featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken breast, boneless and skinless
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and add the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Stir in the cooked pasta before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Serve with garlic bread or steamed vegetables for the best experience.
