Description
A classic Chicken Alfredo made easy in a slow cooker, featuring tender chicken in a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through.
- Shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker and add the Parmesan cheese.
- Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked pasta before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Serve with garlic bread or steamed vegetables for the best experience.
