Description

A comforting slow-cooked dish combining tender chicken and pasta in a rich sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 packet of ranch dressing mix
  • 2 cups cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 8 ounces egg noodles or pasta of choice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix over the chicken.
  3. Add the cream of chicken soup and cream cheese.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, mixing gently to combine.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the chicken is tender.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  7. Once the chicken is done, shred it in the sauce and stir until well combined.
  8. Toss the cooked noodles with the chicken mixture.
  9. Top with shredded cheese and allow it to melt.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Pairs well with a crisp green salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
