Ingredients
- Flaky croissant dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Cooked beef, finely chopped or shredded
- A selection of cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or your favorite)
- Dijon mustard (optional)
- Egg wash (one egg beaten with a splash of water)
- Fresh herbs (like parsley or chives, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the croissant dough on a flat surface.
- Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the dough if using.
- Place a generous amount of cooked beef and a slice of cheese at the broad end of each triangle.
- Carefully roll up the dough, starting from the wide end, and tuck the tip underneath.
- Arrange the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with the egg wash for a golden finish.
- Bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, or until the croissants are puffed and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
