Description

Delicious pastry filled with melty cheese and hearty beef, perfect for brunch or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • Flaky croissant dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Cooked beef, finely chopped or shredded
  • A selection of cheese (Swiss, cheddar, or your favorite)
  • Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Egg wash (one egg beaten with a splash of water)
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or chives, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the croissant dough on a flat surface.
  3. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard on the dough if using.
  4. Place a generous amount of cooked beef and a slice of cheese at the broad end of each triangle.
  5. Carefully roll up the dough, starting from the wide end, and tuck the tip underneath.
  6. Arrange the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops with the egg wash for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for approximately 15 to 20 minutes, or until the croissants are puffed and golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

These croissants pair beautifully with a crisp salad or a warm bowl of soup. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
