Delicious tacos filled with a warm and spicy chicken chili blend, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 can canned green chilies
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 can white beans (rinsed and drained)
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 8 taco shells
- Toppings: sour cream, cheese, cilantro, avocado
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, green chilies, and spices; mix well.
- Pour in the chicken broth and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Fold in the white beans, cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
- Fill taco shells with the chili mixture and top with your favorite garnishes.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or stovetop.
