A rich and creamy casserole featuring tender chicken and broccoli, perfect for low-carb diets.
Ingredients
- 1 pound chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream (or low-carb alternative)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- ½ cup beef bacon, cooked and chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced chicken until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
- Add the broccoli to the skillet and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until just tender.
- Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and half of the shredded cheese.
- Once combined, transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheese and cooked beef bacon.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
Can be paired with side salad or cauliflower rice for a more filling meal. Leftovers should be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
