A comforting one-pan meal with tender chicken and rich buttery noodles that’s both flavorful and easy to prepare.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear the chicken in the skillet until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Add the chicken broth to the same skillet and bring to a boil. Stir in the egg noodles and let cook according to package instructions, usually around 7 minutes.
- Once the noodles are tender, stir in the butter until melted. Slice the chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.
- Allow to simmer for another 2-3 minutes for flavors to meld.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
