Description

A comforting one-skillet meal of ground chicken and pasta, topped with melty cheese, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 8 ounces pasta (like penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Spices: salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Toss in the minced garlic, cooking for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken, seasoning with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Cook until browned and fully cooked through.
  4. Stir in the pasta and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cover, allowing the pasta to cook according to package instructions.
  5. Once the pasta is tender, mix in the cheese until melted and creamy. Adjust seasoning to your taste before serving.

Notes

For a twist, incorporate chopped bell peppers or spinach for nutrition. Substitute pasta with spiralized vegetables for a low-carb option.
